The Project
What kind of impact do you want to make over your lifetime?
What started out as humble beginnings with our original 17 patients at Bonham Elementary, has now grown to over 850 patients and clients seen each day throughout our organization.
West Texas Rehabilitation Center has, over the last five years, continued to see more patients each year, with 2023 being the highest in the history of the organization. Our San Angelo and Ozona locations have undergone extensive expansion and remodeling projects over the last two years to meet the needs in those communities. The Hartford location in Abilene has served the patients of the Big Country well since 1953. In order to meet the ever increasing demand for rehabilitation and hospice services, West Texas Rehab's leadership team and Board of Directors have made the impactful decision to ensure care is provided to anyone who needs it for the next 70 years. The same exceptional care will be provided in a new state-of-the-art facility, benefiting our patients, their families, and our employees.
The project includes expanding from our current 80,000 square foot building to 133,000 square feet with expansion capability of 40,000 square feet as we continue to grow. The WTRC campus will be located on 16 acres with a total cost of $85,000,000. We hope you will join many others in helping to make this dream a reality.
Your financial commitment to this project will ensure generations of patients will be positively impacted by the services we provide for years to come. Thank you for all you have done through the years to support West Texas Rehab and thank you for considering how you can help us now. -Steve Martin President and CEO
