Pediatric Physical Therapy

Physical therapist are ‘movement specialists’ and as therapist specializing in pediatrics, we look at movement from birth on to adulthood.  We work with infants who are not quite meeting their milestones such as rolling, sitting, crawling or walking. We work with children who are having trouble with balance and coordination, strength, pain or difficulty keeping up with their peers.

Why Choose Us

In addition to having appropriate licensure, many of the Rehab’s pediatric therapists have certifications in specialty areas such as neuro-developmental treatment, sensory integration, praxis testing, and kinesiotaping.  Among diagnoses treated are cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, autism, torticollis, developmental delays, neuromuscular disorders, and prematurity.  Depending on the treatment plan we see patients on an individual basis or team approach.
