Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists work with patients from birth up to adulthood who need help achieving independence with their ‘job’ of being a kid. They focus more on the fine motor development of infants and children which includes everything from eye/hand control, reaching and grasping to handwriting, and ADL’s as well as everything in between. We have therapists trained in the SOS Approach to Feeding,  and SI (sensory integration).

Why Choose Us

In addition to having appropriate licensure, many of the Rehab’s pediatric therapists have certifications in specialty areas such as neuro-developmental treatment, sensory integration and praxis testing, neonatal oral motor assessment scale, and VitalStim; to name a few.  Among diagnoses treated are cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, autism, torticollis, developmental delays, neuromuscular disorders, speech delays, feeding disorders and prematurity.   Depending on the treatment plan we use an individual or team approach.
