Hospice of San Angelo Support Groups

The following bereavement support groups are regularly scheduled groups that are open to all members of the community regardless of previous affiliation with our organization. All groups are offered free of charge and are open to anyone experiencing grief through the death of a loved one. Please contact 325-658-6524 for more information. Occasionally, groups may not be held as noted below due to Holidays, other scheduled events etc.

Weekly

Walking Through It (Sole Mates) Mall Walkers

Meets Thursdays 8:30am near Chick-Fil-A in the food court area at Sunset Mall. FMI please call Ervilene, Karen, or Nancy at 658-6524.

Monthly

Monthly Support Group Luncheon

Meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 11:00am at various locations. For more information, call 658-6524.

Grief Education Group

Meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 5:30pm at the Cactus Hotel 11th Floor.

In addition, specific groups focused on grieving particular types of losses are offered throughout the year. (For example: pet loss, sudden death, suicide, spousal death.)  Grief education and support opportunities are also offered in the surrounding counties.

Specific Groups

Artistry of Life - a special evening for each family member with music, refreshments and the opportunity to create a piece of art celebrating the life of a loved one in a beautiful, inspired setting.  Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 6:00-7:30pm at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, 1 Love St.
