Matt Wymore OTD, OTR, CHT, COMT attended the University of Nebraska where he completed his undergraduate degree in Biology. He then attended Creighton University where he completed his doctorate in Occupational Therapy. After completing his upper extremity training at Stanford University and the University of Alabama he went to work for the Hughston Sports medicine clinic in Columbus Georgia. This allowed him to work with athletes from the junior high level and all the way up to the professional MLB rank. Matt has worked closely with highschool and college athletes for the past 22 years, and has developed off season and pre-season programs to prevent injuries and increase athletic performance. After 22 years of rehabbing tommy john surgery, little leaguer's elbow, and shoulder pain it has become his passion to prevent the baseball players from needing this type of intervention. His main goal is to educate the parents, coaches, and kids to reduce the amount of injuries that are currently going on in non-professional sports.
Kelly Martin, PT attended West Virginia University where she completed her 2nd B.S. degree in Physical Therapy in 1991. She has worked for WTRC for 22 years, starting in San Angelo where she worked in the Adult PT Department. In San Angelo, she treated a variety of orthopedic and post-operative diagnoses. Kelly has had additional training in McConnell taping, KT taping, cupping and Graston technique using instruments for assisted soft tissue massage. Because she treats patients who are often in pain, she utilizes various manual modalities and therapeutic exercise including aquatic therapy. Kelly has worked solely with the pediatric population since 2017, after moving to Abilene. Presently, she treats patients primarily in middle school and highschool with spinal, orthopedic and sport related injuries at the Abilene's center.
