Hospice is a scary word to most people, a word that some try to avoid when caring for their loved one.

Hospice is a scary word to most people, a word that some try to avoid when caring for their loved one.
2020 has been a challenging year, and many of us are increasingly feeling a sense of loss and grief. Let me reassure you, grief is the appropriate and normal response to this year! While we primarily think about grief in relationship to death, grief is much bigger than that...
Compassion is the calling of Hospice of the Big Country volunteers.
Hospice has many different disciplines and they all have to do with caring for a current hospice patient from clinical staff, social workers, chaplains, and bereavement. But what about the patient that does not qualify for hospice, or is not ready for hospice, what are they and their families supposed to do?
We provide quality care regardless of the patient's financial status. Our donors allow us to take care of people the way they should be treated.
Setup your donationOn a daily basis, our staff works together as an integrated team to provide a wide array of services including outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, audiology, orthotics, prosthetics, and hospice care.
