Rehab 2015 Raises Over $1.3 Million, one of the best ever!

 

The West Texas Rehabilitation Center’s 45th annual telethon and auction Saturday raised over one point three million dollars, to be exact, $1,301,255. making it one of the best ever.    The show in 2012 show raised the all-time high at just over $1.33 million dollars.  Last year’s show total climbed after the event and ended up raising over $1.32 million making it the second largest ever.  The 2015 event will likely be the 3rd best ever. 

 

Abilene’s Director of Donor Relations Dan Huggins expressed thanks to everyone who had a hand in helping the REHAB raise the funds that go to support patients at facilities in Abilene, San Angelo and Ozona.  Huggins said “We continue to be amazed and very grateful for the tremendous donor support the Center receives.  Everyone’s generosity means we can continue serving those who need services, regardless of their financial situations.”  

 

The live telecast, which was broadcast into 9 television markets, featured country music star Neal McCoy, along with host Charlie Chase, Red Steagall, Bill and Susan Hayes, Brad Maule and Twyla Foreman.
 

The telethon’s Official Sponsor again this year was Suddenlink Communications.  The Toteboard Sponsor was Edward Jones/Gary and Connie Decker.  Aaron’s Sales and Rental was the Check Presentation Sponsor,  NTS Communications was the auction sponsor and Hilton Garden Inn was the host hotel.
